Your Responsibilities – The Craft of Your Role:
- You develop data models that reflect business processes and meet analytical requirements
- Design and implement ETL processes for data integration from various sources
- You will manage and optimize databases, data warehouses, and data lakes
- You are responsible for the implementation and management of data infrastructures in the cloud, such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudI
- It is your task to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with data protection regulations
- You will monitor and optimize the performance of database and ETL processes
- You design scalable data architectures that support both structured and unstructured data
- You work closely with other teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions that align with business objectives
Your Profile – Made of the Right Stuff:
- You have a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a large, data-intensive environment
- You are able to analyze complex data challenges and develop innovative solutions
- With your communication skills, you can clearly and concisely convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- You are a strong team player with the willingness to collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams
- You are able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- You have profound knowledge of database technologies like SQL, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
- You are experienced with ETL tools, like Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica
- You have experience with programming languages like Python, Java, and Scala
- You are experienced with cloud platforms, especially AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) are familiar to you
- Your experience in data modeling is demonstrated by your ability to create and use ER diagrams and other modeling tools
Certifications (optional, but beneficial):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Google Professional Data Engineer
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
